The "Create New Well..." command provides a tool for the client to create a new well in the database. Note that it does not allow the client to assign storage items to the new well, as the assignment of storage items is strictly controlled by copyseis ltd. When used, the "Create New Well..." command brings up a simple dialog requesting the Name and Location for the new well.

Entering the well name and location and then pressing the "OK" button results in the well being created in the database. It is then displayed in the normal "View | Wells..." dialog box for further editing.
