Create New Seismic Line...

The "Create New Seismic Line..." command provides a tool for the client to create a new seismic line in the database. Note that it does not allow the client to assign storage items to the new sesimic line, as the assignment of storage items is strictly controlled by copyseis ltd. When used, the "Create New Seismic Line..." command brings up a simple dialog requesting the Area Name and Line Number for the new seismic line.

Entering the area name and line number and then pressing the "OK" button results in the seismic line being created in the database. It is then displayed in the normal "View | Seismic Lines..." dialog box for further editing.
