Download A File From Copyseis Ltd...

The "Download a file from Copyseis Ltd..." command provides a method for transfering a file from the copyseis ltd. server to the client's personal computer. This command is only active after a file has been placed in the client's download ftp site. The ftp site is checked for files every ten minutes, or whenever the FTP menu's "Scan Download Site Now" command is invoked. When chosen, the command creates a dialog box that asks for the name of the file to be downloaded and the name of a copyseis staff member to inform that the file transfer has taken place. InView will automatically generate an email message informing the chosen staff member of the file transfer. It is not permitted to transfer a file from the copyseis server without announcing it in this way. In InView versions authorised to view more than one client database, the name of the client database can also be chosen. This will specify where the file will be downloaded from, as each client has their own download site.

Once the file name, copyseis staff member, and (optionally) the client name are chosen, dismiss the dialog by pressing the "Download" button.
Next a "Choose Folder" dialog box appears. This is used to select the folder on the client's personal computer that the file is to be copied to.

Navigate to the desired folder and open it, then dismiss the dialog box by pressing the "Select" button. File transfer will then proceed. A final dialog box will appear to announce the completion of the transfer.
